18.84 peso to the pound.. maing a 5 peso coin a while 0.09 of a Sterling penny.
Coins: 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, £2 and the occasionally commorative £5
Notes: £5, £10, £20, £50 and the bank of England holds £100 but they're not in general circulation.

I think your equivalence is flawed

Input Data:
18.84 MXP = 1 GBP
5.00 MXP = ??? GBP

Then we solve it: (5.00 * 1)/18.84 = roughly 0.26 GBP

(the exact amount is 0.26539278131634819532908704883227 GBP)

that'll make a $5 MXP coin worth like 26 Sterling penny coins. not much though

Have you seen how far off-topic have we got?

Yea, we're well adrift here. Better stop now

I'd got itinto my head there that your coin was a denomination of a Peso, hence the err on my part. Doh.

There's no 1 mexican cent coin. lowest denomination is 5cent, but only children carry them, because they're almost worthless. People often have only 50cent and higher (there's 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and special conmemorative 100 pesos coins) in tender notes, we have 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and the new (about half year old) 1000 pesos notes. Anytime you like i can send you some coins so you can get to know them.

can you send me some? i used to collect coins from different countries.. and still interested in them a little

A'hoy! I just violated proper forum ediquet laws (perhaps gramatical ones too ) by not reading the first 3 pages, but my Megahertz XJ1144 14,400bps modem works wonders with my Cassiopeia A11+

A-11 -> CE 1.0
A-11+ -> CE 2.0, right?
