A bunch of spare H/PCs are sitting unused in my house, and they need homes. Since we're in need of a new server, I will be giving part of the proceeds to this site to help toward that cost. This is your opportunity to help support this site while getting a new toy in the process. (I will be making a separate contribution myself, independent of this fundraiser.)

Here's what I have available right now, all in cosmetically good condition, working batteries included, and tested and in good working order:

9 MainStreet Clio C-1050s, three with styli included, $50 each ($10 going toward the server fund)

6 NEC MobilePro 800s, one missing the stylus, three with protective cover adhered to the top (which I can remove if you wish), $35 ($10 toward server fund)

4 ViewSonic V212s, three with tethered styli included, $100 ($20 toward server fund)

HP Jornada 690, with cradle and stylus, $40 ($10 toward server fund)

NEC MobilePro 880, stylus included, $40 ($10 toward server fund)

ViewSonic V110 (not reflashed to unlocked version, still in closed RDP mode), stylus not included, $75 ($15 toward server fund)

Power supplies are not included, though there are universal power adapters available out there that can accommodate each of these devices' power jack. (I have a couple of spare ViewSonic power supplies, however, which I can add to the purchase for $10 as long as they're available.)

Priority Mail shipping to any US destination is included in each price. I will cover part of the shipping cost to other destinations; PM me to work out details.

CE 5.0. (I wasn't aware there ever was a CE 6.0 upgrade for these. Is it still available online somewhere? )

Hi, I'm interested in the Jornada 690. Cradle and stylus but no A/C adapter, right?
That seems a good deal compared to eBay prices, plus I'm sure yours has been well cared for.

Only touched a few times. (I got it as part of a lot of two.) I don't have a spare power adapter, though, I'm afraid. (I've charged my other 690 - as well as my 728, 820, and 620LX - with a universal power adapter many times without a problem.) I may have a spare serial sync cable, though - I'm looking for it as we speak.

OK, The A/C adapter isn't two expensive on eBay. Also, I have a universal adapter that might work on it. I'll have to check what voltage it needs.
The serial cable would be nice if you find it.
Not sure how this works if I decide I'd like it. How do we handle payment?
Thanks.

PayPal is preferred, as you (and C:Amie) will have to wait until I receive a money order if you go that route. I'll set up the PayPal transaction for the full amount, and then forward the donation part to the site via its donation link.

The Jornada power adapter supplies 12 V at 2.5 A. You can get by with 2.0 A or so, though, particularly if it's not in use while charging.

Excellent. I'd like to go ahead and get it. I have a Paypal account, so that's fine. Just let me know the details and I'll get payment coming your way.
Thanks!

You may actually get by with that if you don't try to use the device while it's charging. (And of course it'll take longer to charge.) I have a solar charger that can charge a 12 V device, but it only supplies about the same amperage as your adapter. It can charge it up, but it takes just about all the daylight in a day.

OK, good to know. I shouldn't need to do any rapid charging with it.
