I just got one of these in the mail today. It looks just like all the other CE 5/6 netbooks we've been talking about here lately, except with a mini-USB port in the rear - like Dana's CE 6 netbook, only the e-Go runs CE 5.
(Similar specs too - 533 MHz ARM926, 128 MB RAM, 2 GB flash.
) It is synchronizable via ActiveSync - it synched as soon as I connected it to the PC through this port. However, it only syncs files, as the PIM databases are missing.
(I tried "restoring" the PIM databases from another device using EzBackup, but they won't sync with the PC, and they disappeared again after rebooting.
)
More strangely, there doesn't appear to be a dedicated folder for the flash ROM.
(There is a folder named "Trusted," but I don't know what that's supposed to be for. And even the \Windows folder is not visible in the CE Explorer, though it is visible in Total Commander.
) So far, though, it's retaining what I've copied to at least the \Program Files and \Trusted folders, as well as shortcuts created in \Windows\Programs, after reboot.
More testing pending. I wonder if there's a way to make the PIM databases permanent after restoring them from another device - and if there's a way to tell the device to sync them with the PC as well.
