| Saw an article on this on Engadget today. The device doesn't show up in the company's online store here, but maybe it will soon.
Quick rundown of the specs:
- CPU: 533MHz VIA VT 8505
- RAM: 128MB
- Storage: 2GB Flash and SD slot
- Display: 7-inch 800x600
- Networking: WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Ethernet
- Other I/O: 3 USB ports
- Input: Keyboard with touchpad
- Audio: Built-in speaker and microphone
- OS: Windows CE 6.0
The specs do seem fairly decent considering the price.
EDIT: I'm guessing this is the same netbook as discussed here. Edited by mscdex 2010-03-29 9:56 PM

| 500 mhz?
That can't be. Via VT8505 is always manufactured at 300mhz. |

| So are you saying it has to be overclocked to 533 MHz? |

| Probably a typo or bad info or a vendor not knowing what they are actually selling (look at all the bad info on ebay on half of these cheap ce netbooks). Remember the original info on the 3k razorbook 400? It said 400mhz with 512mb ram. Well it ended up being 200mhz with 128mb ram. The via vt8505 is indeed an arm9 300mhz cpu. 533mhz would more than likely be an arm11 samsung cpu.

| 533 MHz would most likely emerge as SC32440 or something from that series, no ARM11 surely. |

| Mine is a 533mhz, ARM1136JF-S-A, though "system query" seems to say it's 500mhz.

Well for the record both versions of the tinybook t706 have samsung arm11 cpu's. Early models were 533mhz and later models like mine are 667mhz. So surely, yes, arm11.
Cheers. |

| Ok, you must know better. Still have senen many with 533 MHz ARM9. |

| The sig3 will clock to 533Mhz without issue. Willing to bet a lot of arm9's will as well |

| What software is that?
I googled it, but it didn't come up with any useful information on it.
Do you have a link where I can download it? |

sig3 is short for Sigmarion 3, a Japanese HPC-like device running Windows CE .NET 4.1, not software. Edited by mscdex 2010-04-03 7:10 PM
