Have you connected it to your home network yet?

Natalie,

It's very likely that your machine already has WiFi built in, so don't buy any WiFi cards/dongles just yet. Did you buy this on EBay, through an online vendor, or at a retail store like CVS? Is there any brand name on the machine? This information can help us to assist you.

If you got any paperwork with the machine, look and see if any of it mentions WiFi. Also, look at your keyboard to see if there is a WiFi off/on switch anywhere.

You should be able to connect to the internet via wifi and your existing home or work network. I'm not aware of any 3G dongles that work with Windows CE, so if you don't have a home or work network to connect to/through, you're probably out of luck.

This is where doing your research before purchasing is valuable.

At least one CE 6 netbook does support at least one Huawei USB 3G adapter. (That's the 10.2" netbook though.)

Ayush, is that a 10" netbook, or a 7" netbook? Please also tell us which 3G modem you're trying to use.

Rich,
Most of the programs in "wince6freefiles.zip" will run without adding drivers. However one of the browsers wants a JVM which I haven't been able to find....

The JVM is included in the zip file. Look for pMEF MIDP in the emulators folder. Thats the PhoneME jvm.
