Hello everybody

i've bought a psion teklogic netbook pro
trying desperatly to install the psionLX using a SD card
boot sequence seems ok but, in the end, it ends with some small red points, a character high, on the top lef of the screen
obviously, something doesn't work
Maybe i should find and use a Compact Flash?

I will make some tries...

bye

I've never installed Linux on the Psion yet;
if/when I have time I would try it like you did to see what your question means.
But I do have another question:
in my view, the most endearing feature of the Psion Netbook Pro is its instant-on feature:
You work on it, you have files open, - you close the lid,. it's off, - you reopen it, everything is still exactly how you left it...
So I'm wondering if that instant-on feaure is well supported also under Linux?

I have Psion Lx Beta running and the instant on works fine.
You can suspend in exaclty the same way as the wince version ie close the screen or press FN off.

My netBook pro came with it installed. It has the 256mb/64mb motherboard which was used for Psion Lx development. There is a link to download to a CF card in the Linux forums of this site if I can find it I will post it otherwise try a search in that forum.
