I am using a Mobilepro 900c and have set up a POP3 email account with pipex - I'm sure all the Inbox settings are correct (probably!) but when I connect it appears to open transmit and receive ports but then crashes with the message Fatal error inbox will close. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Nick.

npopuk is faster....

qmail3 does html and rss and all sorts of extras. I preffer qmail but a lot preffer npop whichever you use is a good choice.

You thought of trying the 900c custom rom by cmonex? Do a search on here. It's a CE 4.2 rom for the 900c that has lots of usefull software built in (not sure but think it has email software etc.). That would mean you don't need to re-install lots on a hard re-set and have more memory left free (which usually helps speed).

Cheers

I actually think the lack of support for HTML is a feature.

I had thought about this before but was nervous about updating ROM but I have finally bitten the bullet - whole process took about half an hour - and it is fabulous. No looking back. Thanks for the tip.
Nick.
