negative users?

I was just checking the forums, late at night (or early in the morning, UK time), and I saw a curious thing:

There 31 other users (-1 registered; 32 guests)

It's an imaginary user, particuarly if you sqrt it.

I too am interested to know how (32 - -1) = 31 :S
