Hi,

I have a netpad (CE 4.2) and I am looking for a multi-alarm application.
So far I found nothing that works properly, mainly, some appls, they
installed, but they are not recognised (not a valid ce etc etc,- even with RedGear).

If you have any idea, please let me know..

thx

Chris

You mean like an alarm clock? If so...then yes, lots of them.

Hi,

Could you please suggest to me some of the titles?
So I can start searching about them...

Thank you!

A couple to suggest: CTAlarmClock and SpoonAlarm. (The latter requires .NET Compact Framework 2.0.) Results vary from one device to another, though.

thx.. so far the CTAlarmClock could not be installed
(i run the cab then nothing happens..)

The SpoonAlarm installs but does not run, the executability check
reports an error "wrong CPU" probably the application was build for
'higher' CPU than the one on my NetPad.

thx anyway!

As I noted above, SpoonAlarm requires the .NET Compact Framework 2.0 to work, and .NET CF 2.0 is not included on CE 4.2 .net devices, so you have to install it too. (You can find .NET CF 2.0 here in H/PC:Update, under Support & Tutorials.) That's why Executability Check reports the "wrong" CPU type - .NET CF executables have the x86 CPU identifier.

To install CTAlarmClock, you can extract the CAB on your PC first using MSCEInf:

Give Stoptime a try...it is simple, works well, supports multiple alarms and more. I can run it on my HPCs even...and it works well with my CE6 Netbook.

Hi,

Thank you all for the suggestions... I forgot to install the CF 2.0 , I thought I installed it but not..
Stoptime is very nice! , I am using the RedGear, as the Stoptime is a bit small for my screen (half-VGA)

thx
