Python 2.5 and Jornada 720

I have searched and I can find where someone had python 2.5 working on 900c and had 2.3.4 working on 720. Has anyone been able to get python 2.5 working on the 720? I have tried changing out aygshell and coredll but I can't seem to find the right combination. Seems the 900c had a cutom rom and had a coredl2.dll that worked. I have even dumped the rom from my Dell x50 and the aygshell and coredll form it doesn't export the right functions either. The coredll from a Wince 6 rom exports all the functions but then needs all the floating point stuff. I also have a Visual Land V-net 760 that it won't run on either. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
