Tweaking Apps?

There's a couple of things I'd like to tweak about my MP900. One is the annoying battery message when you turn on the device with either a PCMCIA card or memory card in the unit. I know CMONEX's custom ROM has a tweaking app which alleviates this annoyance, but I can't remember what it's called. Maybe someone here could give me a link to a decent WinCE 4.2 tweaking utility? (I've found a few, but I can't get them to work.)

Hi Solidus! Cmonex ROM is including the GS Battery Monitor TSY v0,0,8 with the original version shown to be v1.01.

Ok, but is that the tweaking app located in the control panel? I did a google but couldn't find any information about the program.

if you've got the CMONEX rom it's under start>programs>addons>gs battery monitor

No I don't, I need the name of the tweaking program that's located in start>control panel.

I guess that you refer to the SmallTweak v4.2.7 Feb18, 2002 by Tillanosoft.

Hmm, I can only view a very small portion of the SmallTweak program even though I'm using both RedGear and WinWatch making it unusable. Maybe there's something I need to do? Any suggestions would be very welcomed.

when you say you only view a small portion do you mean that you're not able to see the entire window? if that's the case try hunting down nyditot, it allows you to change the res on your screen, it still might be hard to read certain things but it might be good enough to see your entire window and make out enough to do what you want...i've heard there's a nyditot alternative called gx.dll but i have not played with that...

I was at Nydiots site earlier today and it worked fine then? (Or maybe it was a site hosting Nydiots program...) Either way, I don't think the Nydiot program will help me out. Thanks for your suggestion and help though. If you can think of anything else I could do to alleviate the problem, I'd love to hear it.

So far, I've tried NGapi (or whatever it's called), Screenwatch and of course, RedGear. All three give me the same little box when I launch the app.

I Just wanted a better resolution of 800X300.

just now getting a look at your screen shot solid, that's really weird. off hand i'd try a hard reset and see if that helps sort anything out. other than that i'm out of ideas....
