Jornada 680E and Socket Ethernet Adapters

Will a Jornada 680E recognize and get online using a Socket Low Power Ethernet Adapter (CF and/or PCMCIA versions) ??

It won't recognise it, but if you pull its driver from the HCL or try ne2000.dll as the driver name, it will should work.

Thanks...the reason I asked is that all my other Windows CE handhelds have no problem recognizing the Socket Ethernet adapters.

So,e OEM's added the hardware id data to the registry but not all. hp's are usually pretty good, but if it doesn't use ne2000 or the driver.
