| Hi all, just a quick question about the Windows CE 5.0 and 6.0 evaluation plugins [for building ROM images] for Visual Studio 2005. Can they coexist..? Meaning, can I install and build them both (individually) in Visual Studio 2005?
thanks.
edit-let me clarify better, I just mean if I install them both to Visual Studio 2005, will they conflict with each other?

| Thank you, CE Geek, I spaced entirely about the Developer's Arena forum. Just need to get back into the swing of things, I guess. | |

| Damn good question and to be honest I don't know. Gut instinct says probably not as the path statements on the system would conflict. | |

| Well, I'm inclined to think they'd be okay, as CE 6 is installed to C:/WINCE600. So, I'd assume CE5 would be the 500....
I just need to get this CE6 thing finally done. I finally got updated to R3, but now I can't get any post R3 rollups to install :/.. I'm going to try my netbook with this now. I'm amazed at CE though, I built a CE6 image with everything selected save for stylus and touchscreen stuff, and it comes up to like 120mb I think.
Edit--had another go with copy and replace for the netbook OS script folder. Both times, the mouse/keyboard no longer work, and the second time I even copied/replaced each dll manually.. Alas..
