I'd like to know two things:

1) Has anyone gotten any distribution of Opera to work on 2.11? If so, which (and how)?
2) Is nPOPuk the 'best' email client for 2.11? If not, which do you recommend?

Gonna go ahead and bump this. From what I've read, nPOPuk is the best when it comes to giving our old devices email access. However, I'm still unsure about Opera and 2.11. I've Googled and searched HPC:Factor but haven't really found anything.

I think a few enterprising souls got Opera Mobile 8.60 to open on a CE 2.11 device, but how I don't recall (though I'm sure a lot of hexediting and dummy DLLs were involved). cmonex would know, but she hasn't been around here for a while.

Thanks CE Geek, will have to try to find that. I'm guessing it happened on HPC Factor?

nPopUK is your best bet, should you *not* need IMAP. QMail does work with POP/IMAP, so that's another alternative, yet QMail is no longer developed for HPC--you'll be working with releases circa early 2000's, but hey, it'll match your hardware

nPopUK still has new releases, and I use it on old laptops as well.

Either one is better than Pocket Inbox, unless your POP setup is super basic (no smtp authentication, etc.)
