Does anyone know of an SD card to PCMCIA adapter that will work with Windows CE handhelds, in particular the MobilePro 800/880, Jornada 820, etc.? One that won't need a driver? I'm fine with one that has a 2GB limit.

There's a couple on eBay like this: Viking Adapter There's also a couple on the HCL like this: Sandisk Adapter

It'll probably just be recognized as an ATA storage card like my PC xD adapter so probably no drivers required.

MobilePro Master, the adapter in the first link won't work because it's CardBus and not 16-bit PCMCIA.

Any adapter like the one in the second link should work without any drivers, since as MPM says, the H/PC will recognize the PCMCIA adapter with the SD card in it as an ATA storage card. (I have a PCMCIA 5-in-1 adapter that works this way.)

Ditto to what everyone else already said.

I have several SD to CF adapters that fit inside a PCMCIA adapter that all work fine with my 2Gb SD card.

And they work with my 4Gb SD card which is not SDHC.

Oh, whoops. I basically just linked the first cheap one I saw and didn't think about Cardbus.

Look for the Datafab PCMSD adapter on Ebay etc. This is the PCMCIA MMC/SD adapter and works like a charm.
