On recommendations of this web site (thank you!) I purchased a Linksys WPC11 Ver3 that worked with my HP720 and my older old router. I had to buy a new router, that I thought was backword compatible, but it does not work. Any thoughts as to what to do?
Thanks!

I doubt it is not backward compatible...unless it doesn't support 802.11b wireless protocol, and I haven't seen any yet that don't. Remember to not set up security beyond WEP. No WPA/PSK stuff.

If you read the many threads here on that card, I wouldn't exactly say it's recommended. (The Hardware Compatibility List just shows what's supposed to be compatible - it doesn't constitute a recommendation.) A lot of people have had trouble with the WPC11.

Thank you so much! I'll try one of the cards that you recommend! How about a LAN cable card?
