| Interesting project, how do you create the bootloader?
The simpad rom images are in H/PC:Update. |

| Well. More than 10 years left and nobody did it, so I wanted to start with the easier things. I wanted to ask some guys from Jlime and Cmonex to help me. I know it doesn't start well, but I have to try. |

| The .net 4.2 NEC 900 rom may be of some use for comparison. It is for XScale, but might provide for some insight. |

| Maybe, It is easy to get, but:
The SIMpad uses the same CPU
Sigmarion 3 uses the same CPU, and is generally simillar |

| The Sig III and the NEC MobilePro 900 uses a PXA255... the 728 and the SLC both use a SA1110.
The MP900 has a closer spec to the 728 than the Sig III, the Sig has a ATI chip in it and a different screen resolution, abstraction etc. |

| Are the SL4 and MP900 ROM's sufficient or are you still looking for the SIII dump? If so, which tool do you want them to use? |

| Interesting idea, though personally I'll stick to running the Sig 3 ROM on the Sig 3. |

| May be easier having a look at G138 rom as well as it runs on a strongarm (though it does have a Tahoe gpu) it'll be closer to start with than roms crated for an xscale.
I'd look out for some industrial devices that use the sa1110 cpu sa1111 companion and ce4.2 this would likely be the best starting place as you've got the same base hardware and sa1111 interfaces screen buffer etc.
Maybe look and see if you can find hardware/chipset spec for Psion Netpad as it ran ce4.2 on an SA1110 (now if it also used an SA1111) then it would likely be a great base rom for the 720 as it even has same size screen etc. good luck with project but hopefully with some digging you can grab a start rom with much more similar hardware as anything with a cpu and separate gpu will be so much more work.
