Hi everyone! I’m working on tracking down some astonomy software for the SCL. I need some help tracking down the programmer/owner of an old piece of software that was released in 1997. The program is called AstroHTML and it was released by a company called SanSoft. The company also released software for Newtons and Palms. That company may or may not be associated with the web site www.pdantic.com which seems to have a lot of press releases rewritten by someone named Steve S.
The program is basically an astronomy reference and star chart program written in HTML for Windows CE 1.0. As it was written in HTML it is easily modified to run on Windows CE 2.0 and 2.11
(which is what I did a number of years ago to run it on a MobilePro 700 and 780
).
Has anyone heard of the program/company or know the name of the programmer? I’ve tried the sales contact at the web site but received a bounceback.
You can have a look at the Feb. 18, 1998 version of the web site through the Internet Archive:

FYI – some of the links still work and might yet supply a wealth of programs and knowledge.
Any help tracking this down would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick
