Hello,

I am having troubles to get the card working in my J720. The card is found, but after I set up the necessary steps to connect I always get the message "the computer you are dialing is not answering". In my D211 however the sim card works and I get connection.

What can I do?

I finally got it running....the tricky thing was to delete the 2nd entry for initialization for "unimodem" in the registry.

Is there workaround like BAT-file or so, so that I don´t always have to use the terminal to dial in (like in the link you provided)? That would make it faster and easier....

Inserd Your GC85 card, go to connections and make a new dial-up conection. Select this card, go to CONFIGURE, tap MANUAL DIAL, there should be taped like USETERMINAL WINDOW..., on righ BAUD RATE set up for 115200, this is te fastest for dialling on PCMCIA. And click OK. Go to NEXT. Here on tel.number type *99***1# In Your country could be different, U better check that. And click FINISH. Then run this connection, should open a console with *MRDY: 1 so it'good
In console type:
AT+CFUN? this checkin a let's say "a status of operator"
next
AT+CFUN=1
wait few second, somenthing is writing...
next
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","abcd" here. abcd You need to know from Your operator
next
AT+CPIN="abcd" If You have turned PIN on simcard then type on abcd, if not. than U didn't need to type this line
after this all, type
ATD*99***1# this number need to be the same like in making new dial.

between typing commands wait for writing info in lines.
afrer this shoulb by CONNECTED and many letters and others, then click OK.
Sorry for not to good my english, just try to help

doggystyle: thanks for your help, but you misunderstood me. I got it running in the meantime. What I wanted to know is, if theres a way NOT to type EVERY command, and use a batchfile or so instead?
