Is there an SDK for CE 1.0 around, anywhere? I'd like to have a go at writing some programs for my C120, but all the SDKs and whatnot I've found are for 2.0 and later. Things I'm thinking writing of are like a minimalistic text editor, and porting some stuff I've done for college projects (by way of learning exercises), and maybe eventually get something daft like a BASIC interpreter working on it.

If I got really good, I'd love to do a C/C++ compiler to run on the machine itself (from CF of course ), because in my mind a computer isn't a computer in its own right unless it has a native compiler

It was part of the Windows CE Toolkit v5.0, a retail product.

Sorry for the late reply, but where might I find a copy of that now?

They appear on eBay occasionally, there are also still a couple of web sites where you can buy it, though they charge through the nose.

Oh... awesome. I was hoping there might be a copy archived around here somewhere like with some of the other SDKs for later versions.

It isn't actually an SDK, it's largely a version of Visual Studio and the compiler for which Microsoft charged.

I'm interested in this for targeting CE 1.0 devices.

... and if you check the OP's question, you will note that they are asking about Windows CE 1.0, where as eVT3 only supports CE 2.10 and higher.

Hey everyone, I just registered here so please excuse if I did any errors. I'm not entirely sure if this is what OP asked for but I have 2 SDKs and 1 DDK for Microsoft Pegasus. I have not really used them for anything else than emulating Pegasus, so I'm not sure if they fully work. I installed them on an NT 4.0 VM, and they require Visual C++ 4.0 to install.
