I just observed that we seem to be somewhat lacking in generic screenshots for some Windows CE versions in the History of Windows CE guide.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some unmodified, BMP screenshots from
CE 1.00
CE 1.01
CE 2.00 (Colour & Mono)
CE 2.10
CE 2.11
CE 2.12
CE 3.00
HPC2000
CE 4.00
CE 4.10
CE 4.20
CE 5.00
CE 6.00
CE 6.01
CE 6.02
CE 6.03
CE 7.00

They will go into the screenshots sections from http://www.hpcfactor.com/support/windowsce/ (examples as such)

Please don't do a trawl of Google images, that would be plagerism

Thanks ^_^

Sure. I'd be glad to help. I tried using CaptCE for SH3 on Cassiopeia A-51 but it didn't seem to work. Can you help me figure out how to take screenshot on Cassiopeia A-51?

hmm, that's MIPS isn't it?

Does the tray icon load at all or are you getting an error message?

It usually dumps the images on the root, but perhaps it cannot work aroudn the Japaense file system names?

Hi Rich, it says it can't find files (library and stuff). I got the same error with the CaptCE.

No, it's 40Mhz SH-3. I thought it was MIPS too first, but it's SH-3.

You don't need to copy over the C runtime file do you? mfcwce.dll

Stingraze...my bad...I had posted the MIPS version...I misunderstood. Try the SH3 version attached...but didn't you translate a version of CaptCE a long time ago?

C:Amie...I don't remember an SH3 version of CaptCE...thought it was only ARM..

Yes, there's an SH3 version of CaptCE for CE 1.0. See this page:

http://www.oohito.com/wince/sh3_o_j.htm

I've used it before on my A-10.

Thanks guys. After hard resetting, CaptCE worked! Strange... something must have been wrong. So here's the screenshot of 1.01.

Terific! Must have had some ROM shadow corruption, not exactly uncommon.

My plan is to emulate http://www.hpcfactor.com/support/windowsce/wince10/ for the missing versions. If you can help, awesome

I can't believe how difficult it is to find CE3.0 screenshots that are not HPC 2000 or pocketpc...this is the only one I could find from the web...it is from some data collection device used for car repairs or something...but the first picture looks more like CE2.11 to me than 3.0...
