Please be advised that I intend to change line providers this month, which will mean that the IP addresses will change. This will mean an outage as the line is changed from DSL to Hybrid fibre and then a second one while the DNS propagation goes through.
I cannot give you an exact date, but I expect sometime in the next 2 weeks.
I will update this if and when I get a solid date.
On the plus side it should increase bandwidth 20 fold.
I now have a date for this. It is a little later than planned but outage will begin on the morning of 30th January UK time and will likely run into the 31st for most users.
Hmm, it is playing up a little internally too. I've set a server at work to write a trace log every 60 seconds. I'll leave it running for a few days and see if it is flapping.
In general though, are people noticing any improvements?
