Another Clio with MIPS

Before you get all excited, it's not exactly a portable device. The Clio is the car by Renault, and the MIPS is the processor inside the in-dash media/navigation system (called, appropriately, the MediaNav):

I learned about this while reading through a recent thread in the xda-developers.com forums. It runs CE 6 on a 667 MHz Alchemy Au1320 processor.

Too bad they couldn't put that hardware in a mobile device.

Clio (more precisely Clio 160) was also one of the HTC code names of the HTC X9500/Shift/ Clio 160/ Atlantis / ShangriLa sold in many countries. According to Wiki it was running a Dual Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Business 32-Bit (notebook mode) and SnapVUE (PDA mode). Very nice device with slide keyboard, I have one with dead battery, maybe I will resurrect it some day.....
