web browser and media player

Hello,
I would like to ask you if you know how I can change the media player when I try to watch a video online. When I click on a video link, in internet explorer or opera mini it opens windows media player and the video in unplayable. Can I make it to open core player instead?

You do it in the registry under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT http://www.hpcfactor.com/scl/details.asp?id=28 or can try using a utility like SmallTweak http://www.hpcfactor.com/scl/details.asp?id=107

Thank for the info, but is there a version of smalltweak compatible with arm proccessor?
(I have the sylvania image from this site installed, if it helps to anything)

I just uploaded version 4.2 to the Software Compatibility List:

This version is for CE 2.11 and higher, and includes CABs for ARM and SH4 as well as for MIPS and SH3. The ARM version will work on the Sylvania netbook.

Unfortunately it doesn't install..... Is something i can do?
If I use a registry editor, can someone tell me what I have to change?

You have to unzip the downloaded file it and copy the ARM CAB file inside to the device.

yes, I did that but it says that the application cannot run in this device type...

Copy the file below to \Windows on the netbook. Then open the Control Panel and you'll find it there.

Thanks! i have now stweak and I made some file association. But i still cannot make opera mini /Internet explorer to "open" core player instead of windows media player. Do you have any idea what to look for?

I still cannot make it work......
Any ideas???
