This is very cool, has a 90's industrial imagining of the future vibe to it!
Defiantly not going in a pocket that's for sure!

This is amazing, it's like a modern Jornada with decent screen and built in camera, if only I had the skills to build one

That is pretty cool. If only they'd commercialise it.

Found something pretty neat.

"Keyboard and monitor support brackets were 3D-printed, and some “inventive cable management” was required to squeeze everything in, but it all came together brilliantly."

Arch why would have have a screen that small in a bezel that thick
It's like an 80's 286 laptop

I like it but I wish the keyboard was a little bigger to fill the case. Then it would be easier to type

You're absolutely right.
It's actually a Corona Word Processor (1989?) based with the guts taken out and Raspberry Pi and screen put in.

I think it's one of these:
https://collection.sciencemuseumgroup.org.uk/objects/co8649879/smith...

I believe the maker printed just the support brackets and stuff.

Such a shame in the modern world, the name wouldn't be too attractive in the market, I suppose...

Oh, I see. He's borrowed the chassis rather than made it. Fair dues.

Update:
There is a 3.4GHz CPU (Intel N100) 16GB DDR5 256GB eMMC SBC that runs Windows / Linux.

It might be a good base SBC to build a handheld pc on, although this is not ARM based.
Some are skeptic about this board, but would be nice if is true.

It is a Chinese company making this and will be released in the future.

I haven't seen one of those tiny ball mice since a min-90's Dell Latitude. I also love Framework. Great find. It's a little big though and the movement on the screen hinge... it's not going to be very ergonomic. Nice attempt though. Keep trying and he'll get to a clamshell eventually

Thanks!

I really like those tiny ball mouse. They used to be on older computers in a science museum in Yokohama long time ago, I think. With those Black and green display.
