| I get a "This connection is not secure" message when logging into the forum with Firefox. Has this been discussed before? What's the fix, without changing the browser?
The exact message is:
This connection is
not secure. Logins
entered here could
be compromised.

| It's because hpcfactor doesn't use SSL when logging in etc.
Firefox added a feature that tells the user that it may be compromised if the password is not sent via SSL a while ago.

| hpcfactor is still running on IIS 7.5 so doesn't support SNI. Consequently, I am unable to add https despite having wanted to do so for very long time. Sadly buying Server 2016 and a public SSL are further than I am financially willing to go (I already pay for all other operating expenses, with donations accounting for only around 10% of the running costs) | |
