| There is now a new US Associates Tag, which you can see on the first post on Page 1 if you want it.

| Scrub the above. I just got an email from Amazon.com stating that the re-application has been rejected and the account closed again. |

| Sorry to hear it C:Amie. I've had a similar issue with Google's advertising system. I lost six hundred USD because a member of the forum kept clicking ads (trying to help) and dinged me for it. They took all the money and banned me. I tried to appeal, even had a written statement from the user who was trying to be helpful claiming she did it without being asked. No dice.
These companies can do whatever they feel like it seems at times. Then when confronted, they hide behind their ToS even though it isn't applicable. (Said nothing about errant users clicking links in hopes that it'd help the website out without being asked.) |

| Have you guys heard of patreon?
Maybe you can setup an account there and get monthly paying supporters. It is pretty popular among the internet and YouTube users.

| Yes I have, though I'm not sure that our userbase could sustain one. It is so small now. Most registrations are just to hit downloads.
As it is Christmas, please remember to use the Amazon codes if you are ordering things (especially IT and computer parts).
If you just want to hit the Amazon Home Page under our associates code, please use the links on Page 1

| Hmm, I took the urls, then added the tag to the url and then bought it... Strange.
Maybe Amazon takes the referrer into account as with those there obviously was none? Maybe they always have to have hpcfactor.com as refferer?
Anyway, I donated a little bit via PayPal! |

| Thanks
From my observations, it's a dishonest process. I've pointed multiple people to use links I've sent them to buy whole systems. Amazon will 'magically' zero the most expensive parts of the order. One person used a referral for about £4500 worth of stuff and Amazon only applied the referral to low value items in the 12-item order. I can see that they clicked on the product, but no credit comes forward for the ordering of it.
It does work occasionally, but it's tantamount to a 'house always wins' spin at the roulette table as far as I can see.
Thanks for trying. |

| Please note for our USA members that I have created the Amazon Affiliates US registration again (after they upped and deleted it ). So we have a new (and now working ) referrals code of hpcfactor00-20.
The Marbl automatic drop-down links will have all updated on their own.
In case anyone was wondering, to date the Amazon UK links on hpcfactor.com have made £10.10. The US ones before it was originally deleted about $12 (which Amazon stole when they closed the account ) and the DE one about €3. The CA one never earned anything.
So no, contrary to popular belief, I've not quite managed to turn into Scrooge McDuck...
... yet. |

| My heightened powered of deduction lead me to believe that today is an Amazon Prime day (could it be that they've been emailing me incessantly about it for a week? )
SanDisk currently have 50% off of SD cards and SSD's!
