Take a look at this article I found:

It seems to be running not on Linux but on a kernel called Zircon.
I thought it was interesting move if it was indeed true.

Interesting indeed. However I have to say I'm not a big fan. It looks like it'll be based a lot around "Google Now", a feature I don't use. Of course, I'm probably one of the few. I'd like to get some more details on the back end of it though, see exactly how this differs from Android.

Me too. The fact that the kernel is different interests me. Are they moving off to a whole new thing?
