Haven't tried, what are some of the errors? And approximately how many?

I haven't tried WinCE6, but I have built it for WinCE 2.11. Each time I download a new version, I have to tweak a few files to adapt to some compiler issues. I'm using Visual Studio 98, which is a bit old.

Happy Twentieth to your IDE! Was this Visual C++ 6.0? I use that too! Also have installed some of the dedicated CE IDEs and platform SDKs.

Could you please tell me the steps involved in doing so for WinCE 6.0. I have my SDK and when i try to build it using Openssl steps it always returns unresolved error. I believe its related to linking error. Using openssl-0.9.8i version.
