Hi all

I am trying to install Jlime on a HP-620lx but havent had much luck. I think it is mainly because I cannot find the correct files specifically of the HP-620lx. I have managed to locate the following site using the wayback machine but unfortunately the userland file is missing. Does anyone have Jlime working on the HP-620lx and is willing to share the files needed?

http://devfiles.jlime.com/Development/developers/rafa/620-660/

Cheers

Richard

Everything that we have was put onto http://repository.hpcfactor.com/

If you come across elements that we don't have, please do share them

There was a post in another thread recently, concerning downloadable files and instructions on the WayBack machine.
Here are the links...

https://web.archive.org/web/20160708163254/http://jlime.com:80/wiki/downloads

https://web.archive.org/web/20160709162053/http://jlime.com:80/wiki/documentation

If you find something here that is not on the hpcfactor repository, let CAmie (above) know.

It appears the missing file in the repository is

http://repository.hpcfactor.com/public/jlime/releases/donkey/userla... ?

It has a size of zero and also cannot be downloaded using wayback machine either. It appears to be missing.

Regards

That's too bad. I saw a forum where a guy said he installed JLime on his 620 in 2016. He gives a download link to the defunct JLime website.
It is a long shot, but you might try contacting him to see if he still has the installation files available. You may need to register on that forum first.

It appears you can get all the files from the repository backup:

Bootloader: http://repository.hpcfactor.com/public/jlime/releases/donkey/bootlo...
Bootloader Configuration: http://repository.hpcfactor.com/public/jlime/releases/donkey/bootlo...
Kernel: http://repository.hpcfactor.com/public/jlime/releases/donkey/kernel...
Userland: http://repository.hpcfactor.com/public/jlime/releases/donkey/userla...

The 620/660 JLime Vargtass 5.0 userland contains some extras, but the original one should otherwise work just fine.
I put up some instructions on Vargtass (aimed at the 680/690, but should be transferrable to the 620/660):

https://deuill.org/code/jlime-vargtass/

The original developer of the 620/660 port had some info here:

https://web.archive.org/web/20140620191716/http://fz.hobby-site.org/...

I don't really track these forums much anymore, so if you have any questions, I've got my email address on
the https://deuill.org website (obviously ain't gonna help anyone else like that, though).
