Ok so going through my storage unit clearing out a ton of junk for my move back to the US, I found my old Casio wrist camera.
(WQV-1
) I could not find the infrared dongle that came with it and I'm not particularly interested in buying an expensive dongle off of eBay, or a whole watch set just for the dongle. And from what I remember, the infrared it used wasn't compliant with IR receivers on computers.
I'm curious if anyone here knows of a way to transfer the images without the IR dongle? Perhaps to a built in IR receiver, or a USB IR receiver? I have one method I will try, and that's using a Psion 5.
) However it doesn't liste the WQV-1, just the WQV-10 and others for compatibility.
So just hearing if any other geek that's owned one of these here have any insights.
*Edit*
I have read it uses a simplified version of the IrLAP protocol but have no idea how I can use that to my advantage. I've read people have been able to use custom programs, but I haven't actually found any of those programs.
