| For some reason I was unable to load the forum this morning on my J820 running Debian Sarge from my CF card. Something about w3m unable to load the SSL certificate. I had more success about a year and a half ago: https://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=18277&po... and here: https://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=17185&st...
I did manage to visit Google and login to Linuxquestions.org. (W3M_IMG1_20180925.jpg) Attachments ---------------- W3M_IMG1_20180925.jpg (91KB - 0 downloads) |

| Thgat is very nice. I like the hp "purple" you got there.
I got a Jornada 690 the other day, the Japanese version, but it is broken so I am keeping it for future spare parts. |

I got a Jornada 690 the other day, the Japanese version, but it is broken so I am keeping it for future spare parts. Thanks, the J820 has been fun. The Sony Tablet P looks nice and is intriguing. Unfortunately I promised myself I would never buy anything else 'Sony' after they abandoned my Clie PEG-UX50s in ...2006? I loved that little device!
I broke one of them out this morning and tried to post from it but ran into the same SSL issue. I could Google fine but couldn't connect to many websites. I had Opera mini that @roychanyl mentioned on one of my UX50s a few years ago that worked well but I messed around and sold it.
The Gemini that I saw mentioned in another thread looks very interesting except that it doesn't appear to work with Verizon's LTE. I might think about trying to find one of the wireless only editions. Edited by Mjolnir 2018-09-26 5:26 PM

| Quote It's probably due to SSL only being added this year, with an irregular root, AES256 and SHA2 |

Severe typhoon about to hit tonight. Some evacuation notice out in the area. I am safe for now at home, but. readying multiple radios and short wave radio receivers. Of course, Wifi is setup just in case.
I also have a couple transceivers to be ready.
We are getting numbers of disastrous typhoons snd earthquakes this year.
Typhoon number 24....

| Thanks. I survived. The house actually rattled (it's quite old, and made of wood) due to wind.
The coast is about 30-40minutes bike (bicycle) ride from my house. |
