NEC Mobilepro 900

I have just updated my NEC MPro 900 to win CE.net 4.2 and all looks good except I get the display dimming after 30 seconds. If I press a key it comes back to full brightness level then dims again 30 seconds later. It does it on mains and battery is this meant to happen as it didn't do this on HPC2000, is there some setting to disable is. It even does it during video playback so I don't think its right.

I think you should check the Display Settings under Control Panel. I think there was an option for that, if I'm not mistaken. Or maybe it was under battery settings.
(I've given my MP900 with cmonex ROM to a friend and I don't have it anymore)

Thanks for your reply I have tried every setting but it makes no difference. Its only for fiddling with anyway so not too important. I was hoping to put Cmonex ROM on but the site has long gone unless you know a download for the win ce.net cmonex rom.
