I've owned one for years, but after numerous moves across Europe I've lost the stylus. Just checked out eBay, 50 bucks! No thanks. Anyone know of any other places I could look for these styluses?

If I'm looking at the same ebay sale, the sale includes 2 stylus... and they consider 'Best offers'.
Make them a reasonable offer. They probably don't sell many of these anymore.

Since you have a few, Mjolnir, I take it you've used the UX50? Have any applications you like using on it? Besides the stock apps, the only other app I use is the Sim City for Palm OS game.

The stylus is in the mail. I most used the little device for note taking and occasionally taking pictures and small videos. I was working construction and the device fit perfectly in my workshirt pockets. I had one of Verison's early LTE semi-smartphones (Motorola V710) and I would bluetooth pair the PEG-UX50 with the phone and sit at my buddy's bar and "surf", lol. Probably took 10 minutes to get everything set-up and do a simple google search but that was mobile state of the art at the time here in the 'hinterlands' of Ky.
Later I managed to install the phone version of Opera's browser and would use the device's wifi to connect through my MiFi 2200 on 3G.
The PEG-UX50 had wonderful potential only to be abandoned by Sony.

Awesome Mjolnir, I appreciate that. You saved me at least $50! That's a great story, thanks for sharing. And yes, the UX50 had some superb potential. I love the form factor.

I'm experiencing the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon with the Clie PEG-UX50. Several people on gopher have bought them too and are phlogging (gopher blogging) about them. Weird.

It seems like they're using the devices for offline writing. Sometimes being disconnected is a good thing.

That's pretty neat, Mobi. Strange how things work, huh? Anyway, for writing distraction free I can think of a few handhelds better suited to the task. But if they're enjoying the UX50's, good on them!

Talk about a blast from the past, that's pretty cool. What forum is that if you don't mind me asking?
