I assume you mean in the forum? How do you imagine this working.

We already have a "H/PC Linux / Unix" forum.

What is your angle?

Pretty simple imho.... just specify that its for Modern windows and linux devices....I understand the need for an older hpc boot from card section, after all, those are still among the main line of what this site was founded on....Maybe move it perhaps to a sub forum in another section, or sub forum what i'm proposing, ...I was just talking a general fresh area still mobile chips & not android or size specific..

I'm no expert by any means, but i would consider myself a middle ground....I'm not full of time...but i could definitely moderate it if need be...This site has always been to me, a more of your not just a number that may or may not get a random opinion ,rather than a true answer or atleast the best possible of site...And i think something like this would be a welcomed addition to what has already grown...

Okay, well, what do others think?

What devices would you want to cover?

I would always welcome a new sub-forum, or main forum, either one. Anecdotally, I do feel there's an untapped user experience within this site. There appears to be some serious Linux users--starting with our founding father--and probably others with marked experience running Win10 on small-screened devices.

I mean, there's always reddit (I go there for GPD Pocket info/help), but the civility and loyalty of this place can't be surpassed. Then again, one must match those things against the resource of a larger community such as reddit.

I get and give help at reddit, but I always feel that I'm one post away from somebody telling me to go f-k myself if only because the internet remains the Wild West. I do not feel that apprehension here, despite ce geek's squeamishness about my occasional, very gentle off-color posts.

So what devices would this encompass? Please offer some (non-exhaustive) examples.

What do we call it?
