Numeric keys stopped working

Hi,

Oddly enough the numeric keys 0-9 have stopped working on my 690. All other keys including the backspace are working fine. Just the top row 0-9 keys no longer function, include the special characters on those keys. Looks like a hardware issue

Anyone know how I might go about repairing this problem?

Unless the ribbon is loose, very little. If it's water penetration or a fracture it'll be very hard to find and repair as the traces will be embedded in the PCB. Short of re-patching the entire top row. You'll probably want to hit ebay.

I removed the keyboard and checked the cable connection etc. Everything looks ok, so its probably been damaged somehow, maybe the ribbon cable or just internal connection is broken. No chance to fix this it appears so maybe I get lucky one day and a keyboard pops up on ebay.

Yep the keyboard is totally broken, swapped it out with a working one. Don't see anyway to repair it.
