| I have a Cassiopeia A21s, which uses a monochrome screen.
I've noticed whenever I activesync it up with my pc, the program icons are in color. I've been wondering if the card sprites from the Solitaire game are in monochrome or in color. So I tried copying the pegcards.dll file onto my desktop so I could open it with a DLL editor, but I get an error that reads "executable and resource files in ROM cannot be copied".
What can I do to get around this? Is there a way to patch the files? Thanks in return.

| You can't use Windows Explorer to extract ROM files. They are XIP and are virtualised into the file system. You need a special tool to binary read the file out.
The good news is that you can overwrite it, even though it is ROM as the virtual file system will give way to anything in an actual file system.

| What special tool would that be? How would I use such a thing? | |

| Darn, tried to open the file with CreateFile to write it off to CF card, but opening the file throws error 2 which is file not found. | |
