| So I thought I'd drop in for my bi-annual or so check in.
Let's see, what's up in my life? Retired for a long time now.
I live in one of the most famous cities of the world, Niagara Falls and I love it here. We have virtually zero winter, little snow and mild temps.
I'm back as an active HAM radio guy and gutted to find the HF bands are crap and very little activity on local repeaters.
My kid is 10 now and has a mind of her own!!!
Cheers ! |

| Shame on you for double-posting, wally. (I deleted the other thread. )
We're all getting older here. I retired myself over a year ago, so now I can devote all my time to Windows CE devices. |

| Hi. nice to see you again.
I noticed your music gear underneath. nice!
I sometimes use a short-wave radio receiver called icom IC-R6 to receive air-band radios some km. from my house. I can receive Haneda (Tokyo International Airport) and some military air-band radio at times.

| Gosh, people here are getting old! Everyone here is retired now? I joined the forum in 2006 when I was a kid, after buying my first so loved Jornada. A few Jornadas, Mobile Pros and Sigmarions later, I’m still here, but far from being retired :/
Now I got myself a beautiful wife that made me get away with most of my “old” hardware (compromises of a good marriage gentlemen - although I have a couple hidden in drawers anyway), and 3 wonderful kids that love to play with my joyful HPCs. |

Yeah, when I was a kid we did our computing on tablets made of stone. Oh la-de-da, look at you showing off because you had Cupertino white marble to etch into a as boy. They might be nice and shiny, but everyone knows they crack easily and only last 18 months! |

| By the way, with this COVID-19 spreading all over, should I be worried about it infecting my old HPCs? It is supposed to affect elderly more, so I got concerned...
Just be safe, and don’t forget to wash your hands! |
