Okay, one to get controversial and pass some time.

What was the last movie you watched? And how many smiley faces (or sad faces... or other) would you rate it out of 10?

Star Wars Rise of Skywalker

I thought that Solo and Rogue One were watchable, but none of the last three mainline have been. The only interesting thing in ROS was
Show spoiler...
That Ray was Darth Sidiou's granddaughter, something they should have developed way earlier and explored more in depth. Otherwise the plot was "the force can do anything we need now for a plot device". Just like a Dr. Who sonic screwdriver

Oof, not gonna touch on that with a 10 parsec pole.

Last movie I watched was Edward Scissorhands. I skipped through the majority of it.

I watch so few movies that the last one is the only one I can realistically remember. It was "Ford v Ferrari". I was smart enough to come 20 minutes late to cinema to skip most commercials that time. I liked some jokes but I did not like CGI cars and typical sensationalism of modern movies.

I can't say what the movie was due to self-incrimination protection. But it was good…

The Fifth Amendment doesn't protect you against your wife, Rich.

Does cable TV count? The last movie I watched as of today was Apollo 13. One of a handful of movies that I can enjoy watching over and over again.

I re-watched the TNG TV Movie version of Best of Both worlds last night

/ 10

It's amazing how tame it all is by modern standards. I remember it being gripping and terrifying at the time. It gets a 9 because through a modern lens, the writing left some glaring omissions and problems in the story telling.

I'm surprised that none of the networks is showing the movie "Contagion" with Matt Damon.

Just watched Apollo 13 again last night. Even though it's over a quarter of a century old, I'd rate that movie at least out of 10. You just can't miss with Tom Hanks and Gary Sinise.

I watched Amazing Stories 5th episode on Apple TV+, it was interesting.

I used to like the original Amazing Stories when it was on VHS.

I rate it / 10.

C:Amie, and you're surprised?

I did watch "Underwater" from 2020 yesterday. OK movie, but nothing to write home about.

Not remotely! I was present in the room, but not present of mind.

You've got to give your move an emoticon rating HPC:Fan, that's the whole angle of the thread!

Oh I did stream Bad Boys for Life on Friday (I completely forgot). It gets a / 10 from me.
