| Thanks for clarifying about connecting online....and for Outlook info and software....
I found my Socket 10/100 ethernet CF card...used to use it with my ol' Zaurus...maybe it will work?

| I don't think so. The Palmtop was notoriously picky about ethernet.

| Posting an updated Outlook Converter app. I couldn't get its previous version to make an Outlook calendar, but I found this later, better version on wayback. It has an option for only exporting appts past a certain date, but I couldn't get that to work, so it was making a huge calendar that took too long to open and close. But at least it works.
My workaround: I sync with Google Calendar via Gsyncit (a wonderful program ) and my Google calendar is much smaller than my Outlook Calendar. Through gsyncit, I set up a second calendar in Outlook, the Google calendar. So the syncing goes Outlook Master calendar>Google (with smaller date range )>2nd, smaller Outlook calendar.
This file is zipped and at least my Windows had a hard time with it. But it can extracted via 7zip.

| Decided to try and connect 200LX to my laptop running Win 10 (it also boots Manjaro Linux... ).
Per Hermocom's great 200LX webpage, I'm trying to connect 200LX using Filer and Total Commander with 'hp200lx' plugin on my laptop running Win 10.
https://www.hermocom.com/hplx/view-all-hp-palmtop-articles/60-hplx-r...
Using serial cable with USB - serial adaptor at one end to laptop.
In plugin properties, I set speed to 19200 and port to COM1.
In Filer Communications' > 'Remote Settings', I use same parameters and set 'Server' to 'Enable'.
Then in Filer I select 'Communications' > 'Connect' in Filer. Tries to connect, but then after a minute, get error message 'Cannot establish a remote connection'.
Any suggestions to get this working or is there an easier way ?
Thanks!

| Your issue rings a faint bell. Did you look into the TC forum? I seem to remember others having similar connection difficulties and I THINK someone said it was because the plugin was so old that it didn't play nice with newer Windows-es. But don't quote me and I don't have TC desktop.
You try CPack and DOSBox. Once you get that going, it's pretty foolproof tho not as cool as a TC plugin.

Go to that software site I mentioned and you'll find all the programs I use. To get on-line is tough--start with WWW/LX and work your way through the freeware activation. And find your MochaPPP, if you have it lying around. Then I'll post my www.cfg
Oh, and get the CPack here:

Jake
Managed to get CPack running in DOSBox!.....window was really tiny at first....but found threads online about making it bigger....
Just downloaded and extracted MochaPPP and edited the ini file to as noted in readme file...
Copied MochaPPP folder to C: on computer.
What to do next?
Do I need your www.cfg file or ?
Thanks. |

| CPack and MochaPPP don't have anything to do with each other--CPack swaps files, Mocha goes on-line. For Mocha to work, you first need to get WWW/LX installed and get the freeware licence working. Once you get that in order, post back and I'll walk you through the cfg setup.

| Yeah, CPack is not intuitive. First all, make sure Filer is actually opened on CPack. Secondly, have you established Com1 port in dosbox.conf?
