How to best go with connecting a 320LX to a Win2k PC?

Hi all! I'm not dead! Was just very very sick meow.

Anyways, so I have finally managed to get a functional Windows 2000 PC up and running and I was wondering if a connection to my 320LX would be possible without the HP software.

Do you know of any way to share the internet connection in the same way on linux?

I don't know, I'm trying to get an appointment to get tested but I'm being put on hold everytime and stuff... I'm better now though but it was odd. Anyways, thanks for the links meow!

Idk about connecting the 320LX without the HP software, but I did some digging and I found the software for the DOS-based 100LX and 200LX. If the hardware is similar enough, and if all the software does is allow windows to talk nicely with the adapter, then it might work with the 320LX.
It's probably not much help but it's something if you hit a roadblock.

CE serial connections use fix IP addresses on 192.168.55.0/24 with the host PC expected on 192.168.55.100. CE itself doesn't setup a routing table entry to allow it to route however, so you need to use middleware to proxy the Internet connection down to the H/PC e.g. https://www.hpcfactor.com/support/cesd/c/0018.asp

Duplicate the PPP link and the IP environment and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't just work via Linux.
