Does anyone know where I can download SlashToShift for Sigmarion III? I found all the links already dead and it's not on SCL.

The original unconventional keyboard layout is the major roadblock for me to get into using this machine. Is there any program/hack for customizing the Japanese keys, the symbols keys, and/or the top row keys (including A6-A10 etc)?

Thanks!

Who was the guy that had that huge page about going all English, etc on the Sigmarion. Mike Something? Damn, I can't remember, and I've never owned a Sig. But if someone does remember, his page might be dredged up on wayback with other links or outright contact with him. stingraze, does that page ring a bell with you?

Yeah, I've noticed that in my searches. Not too nifty.

Hm... I remember seeing a page that had a English conversion of Sigmarion 3 to English, but don't remember seeing the keymapping mods.

Update: Oh. I think I got the page: Miken Chell's page:

Yes, I have read the pdf. A kinda SIII bible for English user. Unfortunately most of the links there including SlashToShift are dead.

Yep, I was looking for the original site of SlashToShift, it's gone...

I think if you can get a hold of some ex-advanced Japanese Sigmarion 3 users he might be able to tell you. (like itokoichi)

>>Miken Chell<< stingraze, you da one! I thought it was Mike or something.

Didn't know it had been made into a pdf and I'm sorry it doesn't have the SlashToShift info. Is Miken Chell still available for contact about this?

After some looking around, I think his real name is Mike Schneider. There is a email address at the bottom of the PDF I linked. Not really sure if he is available.

Finally found it on some Chinese site.

The file has been scanned with VirusTotal. All clean.

Just tested it and it works as expected on my Sigmarion III. In addition to changing the Slash key to R Shift, there are a whole lot other keys to modify. A nifty tool indeed.

Can I upload it to SCL and how can I do that?

Thanks! Since the documents inside and the app interface is in Japanese, I will include a short how-to in the description page. Should be ready today or tomorrow.
