So, the concept / test model of the GPD Win 3 came out, and it looks similar to the Vaio UX, which was a portable UMPC with a slide keyboard.
Vaio also came in 007 (James Bond movie).

I think it's pretty neat, but I wish Japanese makers could make their own too.

Spec:
1280x720 pixel display, Core i7 Tiger Lake CPU, 16GB of RAM and Thunderbolt 4.

stingraze,

Have you seen this newer GPD handheld PC, the Pro in particular? Apparently the cpu is now powerful enough to really play games... Intel Core i7-1160G7. It puts my little GPD to shame...

The Win3's generating a lot of excitement over at discord, but they're mostly hardcore gamers. I wouldn't prefer this form factor for my own pedestrian uses. I like the GX1 Pro, which is actually made by One Netbook, but on discord, the hand controls have disappointed (though they can be replaced by third-party). The GX1 can even be ordered with LTE, but the price, for a niche device and its add-ons, rapidly becomes outrageous. I'll pass for now, content with my one netbook 3 and the great 8.4" screen. 8.4" seems to be the right size for me to do extended office work and still be vaguely portable.

I didn't know they had 11th generation Core i7 now. (I didn't know the Tiger Lake was 11th generation)
It's amazing that they have that much horsepower in this form factor.

It seems GPS is working on a version of their Win Max with AMD processors.
I guess there will be lots of demand for that.

Jake, you're welcome! I'm glad you found the news beneficial.

Also, I meant GPD, not GPS. lol. autocorrect.
