I thought this project was very cool and interesting.

Didn't realize until I read again info about it, but those wheels on the side of display, are actually scroll wheels for the display.....now that's what I call retro.....

CPU base model is $25 Raspberry Pi 3 B (2.5 watts at idle?) wonder what battery life is...
Big plus is runs modern browsers and apps on Raspi linux with big support base...and cpu can be upgraded as a replaceable module

Yeah too bad about no touch screen, maybe somebody can add that as a mod kit?

It runs on Raspberry Pi 3 (Compute Module 3).

I never used scroll wheels for display... I don't know how to use it, is it X-Y axis scroll wheels for moving cursor?

I have not either....but I think it moves up and down the display, for example, like vertical scroll bar you use on a window in a browser.
