Will check and then test again.
If that doesn't work, I will upload file here for you to look at.
Thanks!

| Hi!
After boot and login and loadkeys command Us-key.map working in devuan command line or mcedit (nano too probably) except right curly bracket is fn+0 combo, left and right bracket are fn +8 and fn+9 ---however once I run "startx" I lose function keys altogether...this is where X1 keymap is needed????

| Hi Joval,
yes, X needs a different keymap. Its the one Mark currently is working on and you would load it with the „xmodmap“ command from xterm. Once working you can add it to the xinitrc script in /etc/X11/xinit
Cheers

| Hi guys,
Sorry, been very busy with other matters, but will try to fix the keymap for X either today or tomorrow and then upload both.
Best,

| Hi Timo,
Still crazy busy at work....probably for another week..
So, uploading the keymap files here.
The us-j720-key.map file is working well. So, everyone that needs map for US keyboard in console can use this file.
The test.Xmodmap file needs fixing per prior post.
If possible, Timo, please review and correct file. Then we can test.
Thanks!

| Hello!
I took an attempt on creating a xmodmap file for the US keyboard. For me it works great.
Download the file and rename it to .Xmodmap - then move it to your home folder "/home/USERNAME/.Xmodmap"
End X with crtl+alt+del and start it with startx again.
Now all the FN keys should work on the US keyboard.
Regards

| Same experience as Joval.....overall works, except for the 'grave' (' ` ' symbol and the left curly bracket ' { ' symbol.
Any suggestions regarding getting those two symbols working?
THANKS for your help!
