| There was a magnitude 7.1 earthquake that hit Japan. No tsunami expected, but it was pretty scary. Smaller earthquake where I live, but big one near Fukushima. |

| Fingers crossed for post-quake geological calm. I was in Chile for the 8.8 quake and I know how frightening it is.
Keep safe,
Jake

| Wow, a late night quake has got to be one of the scariest things to experience. Glad to hear you’re safe, hope the roadways are clear and safe for travel in time for the Monday commute. And not to be alarmist but I really hope the radioactive debris from the Fukushima incident weren’t released or otherwise affected. Last news story I saw that mentioned them they were all just sort of piled up and covered in plastic. I’m sure appropriate precautions are/were in place but still, it’s a concern. |

| Yes, I hope the people in charge of the nuclear power plant are doing their jobs well.
I heard that the reactor is doing fine.

| A relief to know that the nuclear plant escaped further damages. The people of Japan must have gone through a tenuous ten years. Pray for Japan. |
