I was looking around for something I thought I’d have lots of options on, namely an ftp client, only to find not much. So searching around I came upon a 1999 masters paper by the above named Esther. You can read it here:

In it she covers a lot of ground on software development for embedded systems like Windows CE. It’s a great read if that’s something you have an interest in. She also outlines a couple things she developed namely a time client e_time

Both are available for 2.0, 2.01, and 2.11 in a variety of architectures.
So it looks like a found the ftp client I was looking for.
