Besides multiple options for wifi cards, what do you use your PC Card slot for?

Storage? Anything else?

Thanks for any suggestion.

With or without a CF adapter: bluetooth, storage, serial, wired ethernet, modem (56K or 3g), external VGA. About covers it.

Adaptec SlimSCSI 1460D!
I know, I know, SCSI is dead but c'mon there's so many SCSI devices out there and who wouldn't want to grab all those old tape and Jaz disk backups and get them onto some more modern media. I'll be the first to admit it's weird as anything to hook an external drive up to a palmtop that's half the size of the device you're plugging it into but hey, it works.

I've always had a gnawing suspicion that I was missing out on something of major importance. Some would say this validates my worry that I'm somehow missing out, having been overlooked, even running on 3 cylinders.

I believe C:Amie summed it up best though.

If it's a Hewlett-Packard H/PC, you can sync a Rex PDA:

I was going to sarcastically say chewing gum holder actually

CF/SD cards are going to rattle around in there a bit though. It could do with some foam lining.

Haha. I think I saw one of that "storage" somewhere in a website like Engadget long time ago, and suddenly remembered it.

Good place to stash that wad of 100 euro/dollar bills. Kinda "fits the bill" as the saying goes!

Do you know about the Chip Card TC-100 by IBM Japan?

It's similar.

Japanese Wikipedia:
https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ChipCard_TC-100

The cool part is it becomes recognized as a SRAM from Windows 95!
