After flat panel monitors became the norm, wide screen etc, hardware advancement... it just never looked or played the same even with mods. So i quit playing it.

I have been waiting for a revamp for 10 years.. Looking forward to it!

I think I will! The last game I played was C&C Remastered, and it was honestly the best and most faithful remaster I ever played! Hoping the same for Diablo II, might even organize a LAN party for it

I bought C&C remastered recently and it's great! I haven't played Diablo much but a remaster like C&C might help change that

Congratulations on 1000 posts

I've never seen it, let alone played it.

Used to be into C&C Tiberian Dawn back in 95 and then Tiberian Sun. Never cared for red alert though.

The remastered version is a remaster of Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert, you can even switch between old and new graphics. Nostalgia is guaranteed, it really took me back playing through both again in wonderful 4k

Yeah, I saw it when it was announced.

I bet you can't sell units using sandbags like you can in the MS DOS version though

I like playing Sudden Strike and Wargame: Red Dragon.

The Sudden Strike is a classic, and Wargame: Red Dragon is a really good game if you're into modern day RTS but it consumes lots of CPU power / GPU power.
