Hello everyone: I am not sure if this question fits exactly in this part of the forums.

Are there any clamshell cases that can be used to fit a Raspberry Pi and make it look like a Jornada 7XX/6XX or NEC MobilePro 7XX/9XX?

I saw this one:

https://vilros.com/products/maker-shack-10-inch-lcd-screen-flip-back...

which even has a nice battery built in, but it has no keyboard.

I wonder if anyone here is aware of other options that have a keyboard, battery, screen, etc.

Thanks!

Pi-Top is a famous one, although it's pretty big.

These places sell it:

CrowPi2.

Some pins on Pinterest:

It might be good to image search using your favorite search engine. It's faster than keyword search.

FWilhelm,

You didn't say if you wanted to 3D print something, or just buy something. Additionally you were not clear what size you were looking for.

If you want to buy something outright, there is not much available...

PiTop

You could do an AIO, with a battery pack and external keyboard

But if you want to 3D print, there are lots of ideas... and if you don't have a 3D printer, you could prototype with cardboard, and then follow up with a print from Shapeways...

Here's my collection of UMPC's...

BTW, I am collecting parts for a mid sized RPI laptop too, but I am not very far along, as you can see in the pic.

The intent is to eliminate as many wires as possible. This one only needs power cables...

Thank you for these replies. Lots of good info and ideas here!

I am not looking to print, but it is also great to see what others are designing and printing.

Thanks again!
